The mission of Faire is to support the local creative community and provide consumers with a local choice for art and home goods. In order to succeed, Faire has to set itself apart from the crowd and tell the story of these artists and designers. They need to connect their customers with the creators, create a bond between them, and foster community.

The visual language began with creating a unique typeface based on Trade Gothic. From this endeavor, the signature wordmark was born. The minimalistic aesthetic aligns Faire with art galleries, museums, and high end fashion brands. The identity elevates the brand over other local outlets and establishes it as a source of both inspiration and quality goods.

KEY INSIGHT


As a part of the branding process, we look for ways to help the brand stand out from the crowd. One aspect of which is evaluating the customer experience. How can we stand out in a sea of retail options for consumers? We allow the customer to play an integral role in the creative community by crowdfunding local projects. From furniture to interior decor, the customer has the opportunity to be involved beyond a simple retail purchase. This, in partnership with a traditional retail experience, provides multiple avenues for the customer to interact with the brand.
